US GAS: Futures End Flat On Mild Weather, Expected Storage Draw - Wall Street Journal

NEW YORK (Dow Jones)--Natural-gas futures ended nearly unchanged Wednesday as traders weighed forecasts for mild weather in parts of the country with expectations for a larger-than-average weekly inventory draw.

Natural gas for February delivery settled down 0.1 cent at $4.287 a million British thermal units on the New York Mercantile Exchange on its first day as the front-month contract. The January contract expired at settlement Tuesday at $4.216/MMBtu.
