Referenced Stocks: APA, TSL, UNG, USO, WOPEY

Energy shares are trading mostly higher ahead of the closing bell as crude oil futures reverse prior-session losses and surge to close over $91 a barrel. Crude oil for February delivery finished up $1.54, or 1.68%, to $91.38 a barrel. In energy ETFs, the United States Oil Fund ( USO ) is up 2.05% to $38.90. The United States Natural Gas ETF ( UNG ) is up 1.87% to $6. In late-session energy news, ADRs of Trina Solar ( TSL ) are hitting session highs after the company said in the pre market it completed a 5 MW solar power plant developed by Lanco Infratech Limited. Elsewhere, Apache ( APA ) and Woodside Petroleum ( WOPEY ) shares are trading mixed in the late session despite a Bloomberg report that the two halted oil fields off Western Australia because a tropical low system was forecast to become a cyclone.
